Ward Engineering and Land Surveying Ltd. (WELS) is seeking a LST or a Survey Technician with strong drafting and survey skills to join their Nelson office. WELS provides a full range of land surveying and civil engineering consulting services throughout the Kootenay region. Our office is located in beautiful Nelson, BC.

Ward Engineering and Land Surveying Ltd. (WELS) is seeking a LST or a Survey Technician with strong drafting and survey skills to join their Nelson office. WELS provides a full range of land surveying and civil engineering consulting services throughout the Kootenay region. Our office is located in beautiful Nelson, BC.
Duties:
- Field work and calculation of legal surveys from start to finish, including plan preparation and submission of applications
- Assistance on Engineering projects
Requirements:
- Good organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage people and projects
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of a variety of computer and survey applications including Microsurvey software
- Ability to use GPS and Total Station equipment
